The Senior Pastor, Michael Wondimu is spending most of his time on bringing dynamic teachings to the attention of believers and non-believers. He is one of the most gifted persons to reveal the secrets of the word of God in our time. So far he has released teachings on various topics of atleast 150, which have been recorded on 400 audiocassettes and made available for users in a subsidized price .Among the most known mission travels made by Pastor Michael Wondimu to Europe and America, the most remarkable ones were:
1. Germany: A conference organized by Graces Evangelist Church in 2001.
2. Dubai: A Conference organized by Yehiwot Minch Church in 2001.
3. Scandinavia Countries: A conference organized by Ethiopian Evangelical Church in 2003.
4. London: A conference Organized by AWGC Church in 2005.
5. Canada: A Conference Organized by Kingdom of God church in 2005.
6. Egypt: A conference organized by Ethio Ertrian Church in 2005.
The church is only six years old but in those periods it has survived significant internal and external shocks. Knowingly or unknowingly, some of our good brothers and Sisters have stood against us and some of the church leaders in Addis have also misunderstood our ministries, despite of the visible changes in the lives of thousands of people who are the direct and indirect beneficiaries of our services.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not only preached on the regular service time of the church but also in the main streets of Addis, on schedule. These days, a well-planned and systematic preaching of the gospel on the main streets of the city is not so common, while one of the most colorful success stories of our church is street evangelism. This work, although effective and rewarding, was undeniably challenging and some times life threatening. Another inspiring and effective Gospel ministry, ever recorded in the history of this church is, the “night gospel trips”. This ministry targets particularly the street girls and those alcohol addicts, who often spent most of the night on the street. Friday night is dedicated for this ministry and we do witness that Jesus is Lord.
