The Mystery of The Trinity

Over the centuries and millennia, our theologians and scholars have explained The Trinity with the philosophical explanation: "One God in Three Persons." That statement is nowhere in The Scriptures. So, from where did it come or arise?

When The Scriptures were translated into other languages, especially into the English Language, the theologians and scholars used the Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament, and the Septuagint is abbreviated throughout literature as LXX.

The Roman numerals LXX represent the 70 Hebrew scholars who translated the Hebrew Old Testament into Classical Greek during the 2nd or 3rd century B.C.

When the Translators brought the text into the English Language, it seems that all the translators into English forgot or overlooked the Hebrew Old Testament texts. The Septuagint translators ignored The Elohim Beings and made the plural word, Elohim, into the singular word for God in English and other languages.

This was the most significant blunder with regard to understanding The Trinity. Why? Because it made a plural word into a singular word and forced all scholars to understand The Trinity as One God in Three Persons, by using philosophical categories. As I wrote above, that statement is nowhere in The Scripture. And it is unnecessary when we understand the Hebrew Language in the OT.

My God is not a schizophrenic with multiple personalities, nor is He a Three-Headed God.

My Covenant God And Father Is Yahweh The Most High, El Shaddai, The God And Father Of my Lord Jesus The Anointed One, His Only-Begotten Son.

Each Of The Three Elohim Beings, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, is a Self-Existent, Absolute, Divine, Glory Being. Each One Is A Faith Being And A Being Of Absolute Light.

How is this not polytheism? Each One Of Them has Their Agreed-Upon Self-Designation.

One Of Them Is The Almighty God to be worshiped, Who Is God The Father Almighty. One Of Them Is Jesus The Son Of The Father Who Would Be Born in Bethlehem. And One Of Them Is The Holy Spirit. Their modus operandi is The Father Does All Things Through The Son By The Holy Spirit. This Is Their Procedure In Creation, The Ministry Of Jesus, In Redemption, etc.

And Each One Has A Purpose In The Word "Anoint." God The Father Is The Anointer, The Son Is The Anointed, and The Holy Spirit Is The Anointing. This Is The Main Understanding Of The Trinity: Three Elohim Beings Who Speak And Act And Create As One. They Are One In Oneness, not One In Number. This is a very significant distinction.

"The Only-Begotten God" in John 1:18, which I have addressed in a previous blog entry, means The Only-Begotten Elohim Being Among The Three Of Them. With the fact that the plural word Elohim is always used with singular verbs when referring to True Deity throughout the Hebrew Old Testament, this is the major understanding of The Trinity revealed in the plural word used with singular verbs.

Each One Of These Three Elohim Beings glorifies and amplifies and magnifies The Significance Of The Other Two. They absolutely agree regarding thought and word and deed. They have oneness of will and purpose for all creation.

Regarding The Word Of God, God does not say one thing and will something else: His Word Is His Will. The same is true of These Three Elohim Beings. Their Word Is Their Will.

Grace and Peace to you all.
